The Appalachian and Ohio had it's first "test" operation session this past weekend.  The Owner and boss took advantage of a stoppage in construction for the recent open house and held a "mini" operating session.  Work kept me away, but those that made it have posted some pictures on the A&O website.  Take a look.

I am fairly new to the hobby and continue to be astonished at the level of detail and workmanship that goes into some of these layouts. I mean, just the detail on the control panel is amazing. Extraordinay layout all the way around. How many hours have you got invested in this?

Operating on such an expansive well designed model RR to a well defined operating scheme is something everyone in the hobby should experience at least once. It will forever change the way you think about your trains . It is an entirely different adventure than one might perceive if they have never tried it on for size.

I appreciate seeing the photos gentlemen!
