You all should consider a future goal of having your layout professionally taped.  I'm hopeful that OGR continues to produce videos as they do an OUTSTANDING job.  Rich is highly organized and the results speak for themselves.

Thank you to a professional company who came and filmed the Glacier Line yesterday. The release date is unknown.

Thank you to Connie Coy, Joseph Coy, Chris Toncheff, Rod Weinschenk and Gregg Burks for all of their assistance and support. Without these people, the Glacier Line would not be magazine or video worthy.  Thanks to OGR for doing both.

You good people just don't have an idea of how much work and effort it is to prepare for a video shoot and then actually do it. It is very tiring as it takes about two days, 10 to 20 hours to come up with 20 to 30 minutes of material. The same is true of writing articles or books. Model Railroad Custom Designer book took about one year to write and produce. It's NOT as easy as many people believe.

Regardless, I own the OGR series and would love to see YOUR layouts as well.  Obviously, a bunch of you are aware I do the crudely produced youtube stuff.  I mean these work and these are okay, but certainly NOT in the same universe as an OGR produced film.

I encourage and challenge you to prepare your layouts for publication!  There are a lot of layouts out there, great ones!, waiting to be seen.zzzz video shoot

Yes, congratulations.  We had a great time when Rich was here to video our layout (Great Layout Adventures #8), and the T-M Video folks were here for two days last month, also.

Your shoot was fabulous.  And you get to run the real one too!  You can't beat that.  I watch the OGR videos often.  I exercise daily and always am playing one.  I just watched 8 on Friday.
