There is very little mopac piggyback trailers in O scale I like so I thought I would make my own. This type of trailer was made by Fruehauf from 1965 to 1978 or so. The trailer I started out with was a Champs of the road they were sold at K mart in the 1970s. I did not like the dollies so I scratch built some using a pair from a Berkshire Valley kit. I will keep you posted with updates

Nice job Lee, I like your work.

I picked up years ago some cheap plastic semi trailers (A whole box for $20!) that can be modified to O scale when I get my TOFC site finished I am going to dig them out. I started years ago modifying them using Berkshire Valley kits then the layout took over.

Thanks for posting.

Roo.
