Does anyone know of a 3 rail model rail club near Seattle, WA? I'm looking to join one next year!

Check with train dealers in Washington. You are much more likely to find information close to home than asking a nationally based forum.
Try Eastside Trains in Kirkland or Electric Train Shop in Burien.
But Washington is big on HO modelers of logging railroads. I kind of doubt there is a three-rail O gauge club nearby.
Eastside Trains in Kirkland is a huge 3-rail dealer. The staff probably know nearly every 3-rail modeler in the area. Ask them if they can put you in touch with a club or some of the 3-rail people. There may be an informal club that meets at homes once a twice a month to work on and run trains. You might also contact your local TCA, LCCA or LOTTS clubs. People in these groups will know about clubs.

Not a bad base to build from. If you want a club, network with these guys and pitch the idea.

My hobby friend Rattler confirmed there is a cadre of LCCA three railers in your area. I suggest that you join the LCCA (go to www.lionelcollectors.org), and then use their online Membership Roster to identify other nearby members. Invite them all to a self-pay get-acquainted meeting on a Saturday morning for breakfast at a local eatery, and go from there.
Many local train clubs start small with an informal organizational style and opt to keep it that way without a formal Constitution, By-Laws, Membership Dues, IRS 501(c)(3) status, and such. Perhaps a TOP TEN list of basic rules would suffice for governance. Rule #1: Have fun with trains!
Carry on ...

George,
I live near Seattle and I've never found one, but, don't let that stop your search. Eastside is a great LHS and they are very knowledgeable as well. I would even be willing to assist in trying to get one started, but due to family, would have limited time to commit.
Best wishes.
To Ironhorseman, I found a modular group. However not sure that'a what I want. I would like a more permanent one if possible!
George,
Hope you find a club; but, leave yourself open to connecting with like-minded O gaugers who will become your friends. Better, create a weekly "train night" where you get together to share your interests--which don't have to be the same.
I had such a group in Chicago years ago. We'd meet at Rich Sherry's home on Wednesday nights for popcorn, soda/pop, and trains. Rich was a well-known re-painter of pre-war tinplate and post war F-3s. He also managed a small chemical company. Another guy was a United Captain who loved pre-war tinplate; another was a machinist who could make anything.
There were others, but from 7-11 PM on Wednesday nights it was "Train Night."
Hope you find a Club, but try to make connections with other hobbyists.
