Modifying the Williams GMFRT-1 N&W 4 bay covered hopper.

This model is a very basic O-27 4 bay covered hopper that was made in China. The model has metal non-sprung trucks. Stamped metal pieces were provided for attaching the trucks. The car has a brake wheel mounted on both ends. The brake cylinder mounted on the end does not appear to be correct for this car. This model has been upgraded with modified end brake gear and Lionel sprung trucks. The extra end brake wheel was removed.

The following photo shows the original hopper model as built by Williams. Photos of the modified hopper also shown.
