There is a 6 car Montana Rail Link lettered passenger train sitting on a siding yard of the MRL SRY branch in Surrey B.C.
The Line runs from New Westminster through Surrey, Langley and Abbotsford to Chilliwack B.C. at one point right next to the US border.
Rumors are that the trainset was in town for some work and at some point may be used on the MRL line in the US as a tourist train.
For more info on MRL check out the article in June 2013 Trains magazine.
The passenger train set consists of a baggage/power car, 2 domes and an ex SP articulated car and buisness car with rear vestibule on the rear of the train. Sharp looking with blue MRL blue stripes.
The trainset was seen running on a reported test run a few weeks back on the B.C. Hydro Sub, not sure how far it got.
Would be nice to be able to take a trip over the line!
