Cold, rainy days are good for some things like working on trains. I assembled the finished GM&O cabs today while waiting for glue to dry on the NYC pacemaker cabs.

You're right.
A caboose belongs on a train, whether steam, or diesel.
Even though it's at the end of a train, it still adds something to a train!!!!
A caboose adds character, purpose and is nice to look at, unlike a FRED!

Malcolm, Project after project I continually find myself in awe of your talents. It's a wonder some of these manufactures don't ask you to build prototypes of future model offerings. We certainly would benefit from your eye for detail, accuracy and scale dimensions.

Do you scratch your platform steps or do you use an available casting?
Chris, Thank you. They are scratched. I plan to try your method of casting a GM&O cab soon. If I could get one half as good as your WP I would be content, the WP is stunning.
