Got my new Railking Imperial Y6B Today. What a nice engine - runs beautifully - until we get to the single 0-27 switch on the main line (all other switches are in the yard and upper loop where the engine isn't run and/or can't fit). The engine has 3 rollers under it. All of them, when going over the slightly raised get wedged between the rail and the frame of the engine causeing it to breifly stall due to the stuck rollers. Going slowly (approximately 8 mph or less) causes it to short, going faster causes it to make it through with a bit of hesitation.
Taking a Dremel to the engine isn't going to happen... there isn't much meat on the center rail of the switches to dremel it very far, if at all. Any one have any suggestions? I'm pretty stumped other than cutting that center rail down a bit. This is a manual version. I do have two automatic switches on the upper loop and in the yard on the loop in question with the Y6
