More sound Cars - Plea to Lionel

I got a set of the tank cars with sounds.  This is the first time the rails have really come alive.  If I could get a few more cars with some different sounds it would be really awesome in the train room.  My plea is to Lionel to build more scale sized cars with such great sounds.  If it would help to keep costs down I would be happy to see less sophisticated electronics - lose the sensor that makes it squeal around a curve but not the squeal sound.  I love the wheel thump and the brake squeal when added to a train keep those sounds!

Actually in the 3 car Vision Line set, two of the cars are sound equipped.  I also bought the matching non sound 3 car set.  If you space the sound cars out amongst the non sound cars it is enough and sounds great.

 

They really do make the train sound alive.  I wish Lionel would offer more cars like these.

I agree as well! I would definitely buy some freight cars with freight sounds. I know Lionel still makes some cars with combined animal and freight sounds but I'm mostly interested in just the freight sounds. I missed out on getting the Vision tank cars so am patiently waiting for Lionel to come out with some new cars with freight sounds.
