First and Foremost I would like to thank our GRACIOUS hosts the NJ HiRailers for another spectacular event. Great layout, food and friends. Personally I don't get to attend many of the OGR events so I made a point of introducing myself to a few of the forumites and I did get to meet and speak with Gunnrunner John Will, Ted Bertiger, Chris Lord, Skip Natali, and Chris Lonero, really nice to make the acquaintance!!

Here are some of the photos and videos I took including triple heading then later Quad heading the new Lionel Big Boys. Of course some photos of the forumites and Most importantly the kitchen crew who did an OUTSTANDING JOB

What was even more awesome was when a few boxcars accidentally backed on to the same track. right after the collision, as many eyes were gazed on the Big Boys, you could feel the air get sucked out of the room as about 100 people gasped. Needless to say the box cars got pushed out of the way and the operator stopped the Big Boys immediately. Luckily no damage and both trains were back in Operation in about 2 minutes.
Only the Hi Railers could stage such Drama ! ! !

OK, I'll confess. It was me. I was the dispatcher. I'll try to explain. I was running my Conrail frieght on the White line up the helix. John E. came to me and said a guest wanted to run his train. I told John I would move my train from the White line to the Yellow line and the guest could run on the White line. I had set the switches and was making the move but I forgot about Chris and the Big Boy's. I was crossing their path. OOP'S. Well stuff happens as they say. No damage. The 0-5-0 cranes came in and had everything back on track and running again in minutes.

And who would be the owner of that 1st BB?  Wouldn't be you, would it?
