Any one wire RMT bang motors in series? Results?

No "Bangs" on my roster but I have wired my Williams diesel motors in series and would recommend doing that. The engines can slow down to a crawl and still do as much for top speed as I want. It's an easy alteration to make and if you don't like it, it's not much work to return it to the way it was when it came.

Not a bang but did do it to two K-Line ALCO S-2 Switchers. A K-2321 and a K-2331. A huge improvement to their operation. They were too fast to run before and now are great. My RMT Bang seems fine as it was delivered but a good thought.
Thanks for the info

I've wired some Williams units from parallel to series. But the Bangs I have run well enough that I have not bothered to try, or even look to see if they are wired parallel or series as they are delivered. I know the RMT GG1 is series wired.
If you take one apart and modify it, let us know what happens.
How do you wire a Williams engine from parallel to series?
You take the body off, the motors have two different colored leads going to them, say a blue and brown wire to each. You cut the blue one on one motor and the brown on the other, connect the blue wire leading from a motor to the brown wire leading to the other motor. Cover the junction with electrical tape. You also have the other ends of both wires you ignore (I put electrical tape over them). Put the body back on.
