Good morning everyone.
I am building a modest layout and would like to mount the TIU vertically under the bench to save on space. I have seen several pics of it being mounted this way, but I see no provisions in the unit itself to do it. If anyone has done something similar, please let me know how.

Zip ties around the middle of the unit..
The screws that hold the four rubber feet can be removed, longer wood screws used to attach to a board. Mounting a TPC, lower left, or a Lionel Command Base, upper right, on the board, required strap iron, which can be purchased at a local hardware store, usually in a small rolls. The Lionel PH 180 Bricks pictured, have mounting slots backside of the units.
The 4 rubber feet are pressed on if I recall. Remove them and then screw through the holes from the top. You may have to drill them out a little depending on the screw you select..
