Can either the type Z or V be mounted vertically? I was not sure if the holes on the bottom plate are accessible. Due to my space, it would just work better vertically. I have a KW mounted this way, but need to replace it. The holes on the bottom of the KW are the type that are narrower on one end so you can slide it on the screw. Pictures of the bottom would be great.

Ok, after looking at many pictures online, it looks like the bottom plate on the Z is wider in the middle and has holes in the bottom plate that I could use to screw it to the side of something. It appears that the V does not have the same bottom plate.

Here’s a photo(s) of the “Z” bottom. Measures 8” front to back and 8 11/16 side to side. Couple of very small holes on sides of bottom. Guessing 1/8”. Hope this helps.
