I recently had to move my DCS App (Premium version) from one iPad to another. I found that the Export Feature does this and ports over all my settings. However, upon my first attempt to use the app on the new device I got a message that I need to upgrade. All my PREMIMUM features got lost in the move. This does not sound right since it's the same user and the same system. With the breakup of MTH, what service department would be able to address this? No other iOS app makes you pay again when you move an app to another device. I did find an old post here by Barry Moskowitz (RIP) that they only charge you once, but I'd prefer to get a green light officially rather than have to beg for a refund later.

All you have to do is ensure your NEW device is logged into the same app store account, and then hit refresh and bam- it downloads the license from your account.

Nope. I've had the same iTunes account for a decade. I'm logged into the iTunes store. I don't get the screen you showed, only option is to PURCHASE.

Not the Itunes store- the app store.
OK, got it to work! Needed to get to the UPGRADE screen via the MORE/UPGRADE path instead of from the popup error when a premium command fails. Thanks for the tip!!
"iTunes is mainly associated with organizing and adding digital media like songs, movies, and TV shows, which can be purchased by the users. On the other hand, the Apple App Store is a website that enables the purchase of software and mobile applications to be run on Apple related devices"
