This weekend Sidewinder, here on the forum, and I made a trip Mr. Muffins Trains.  We spent the entire Saturday at his shop in Carmel Indiana.   His personal collection of trains and layout are outstanding.  The video and photos in the video below don’t even touch the many details of his layout.   We had a lot of fun spending time with Mr. and Mrs Muffin.  They are very friendly and hospitable people.  If you are ever in Indianapolis area on a Saturday when he is running trains on his layout, I encourage you to stop on by to see his spectacular layout!   Ken

It indeed was a great time. Steve and Liz are two of the nicest and genuine people I've met in this hobby. They are terrific hosts (beware of the cinnamon and double chocolate muffins) and very welcoming.

I spent many minutes drooling over Steve's complete collection of Atlas reefers. It was really impressive seeing his collection displayed the way it is. If you can make the trip, I also encourage any of you to do so.

Thank you Steve and Liz!

Thank you, Ken! I didn't realize you were taking pictures all day. Terrific job!

Yes, we usually just run trains on Saturdays unless it's a special group or request. We have a nursing home bringing residents in this Thursday and we will be running trains for them. Part of the reason Mrs Muffin chose this location was because of the easy wheelchair access.

Thanks again for for visiting and for the video post!
