It indeed was a great time. Steve and Liz are two of the nicest and genuine people I've met in this hobby. They are terrific hosts (beware of the cinnamon and double chocolate muffins) and very welcoming.

 

I spent many minutes drooling over Steve's complete collection of Atlas reefers. It was really impressive seeing his collection displayed the way it is. If you can make the trip, I also encourage any of you to do so.

Awesome layout, and the "Muffins" are good people.  I must make a trip to Carmel before my Atlas F7's arrive.  Does he only run the layout on Saturday?

Outstanding produced video of an outstanding layout and collection.  Hats off to Mr. Muffins for his wonderful display.  Thanks for this thread.  So much fun to watch all that action and the bridges are so great.

Yes, we usually just run trains on Saturdays unless it's a special group or request. We have a nursing home bringing residents in this Thursday and we will be running trains for them. Part of the reason Mrs Muffin chose this location was because of the easy wheelchair access.
