My MRC dual power transformer is putting out a 5Vdc current on the A side throttle. The B side is OK It's enough to activate Lionel whistle relays. Any ideas as to a cause or fix?
Possibly a broken contact on the switch/contact board that is acting like you are depressing the horn button all the time would be my best guess without being able to troubleshoot it in person.
My recommendation would be to contact MRC. They are usually good about getting back in touch with a response to an inquiry and they will work on it. I have had a few issues with my MRC O gauge and N scale power supplies that they helped with.
