I took a trip today with the kiddos. This is a wonderful asset with great staff, a nice ride and excellent static displays. They have a repair shop and the largest set of logging steamers in one location. Videos and images to come shortly.
The Alaska Troop car still has the Allied Trucks!

I visited it a couple of years ago or more. There is a lot to see and I didn't allow enough time. Always wanted to go back. Looking forward to the pictures.
Thanks for the shots. I haven't been out there since they opened this portion at Mineral, really need to go out there to see it before the shut down for the season.
I don't live that far from there, probably about 50 miles or so, but anyone's who's ever been there can verify, it's really not on the way to anywhere.

Thanks for the photos. I couldn't find a photo of ARR 10264 in action, but here is an engineering drawing from ARR. Looks like the numbered the box cars by the type of trucks. 10200 series had the Allied trucks.
That had to get to Alaska and then back to the lower 48 by ocean barge. That box car is well traveled.
