I'm not sure how many times I ran the 4611 at NJT, but I'm happy to have a model that looks close to the real deal.  In general, the level of detail is very high for a plastic engine of this price range, and yes, the pantographs do operate.  A few down sides: the side ladders are attached to the trucks (necessary to make even moderate radius curves), the pan heads tend not to stay level, and the sound is not quite the same as an ALP, although it's probably close enough that one can pretend.  Hopefully someday an ALP 46 soundset will be availalbe to replace the generic TRAXX soundfiles.  The TRAXX sound system appears to have a multi stage transition, with various levels of high pitched whines.  The ALP 46 begins with a mid pitched whine, and then transitions to a lower pitch frequency at 25mph.  Oh, and this is a buy your own couplers engine.  Anyone have any coupler suggestions?

Overal, great job MTH; I'm amazed by the level of detail, and also impressed that this 2 rail loco was able to run on tubular track with only a few derailments.
