My Blue Goose engine seems to have a tether issue. Wiggling the tether can make it cut in and out. I removed the shell trying to get to the tether connector box to re-solder the connections.
It seems impossible to get complete access to the connector. I was able to get a thin soldering iron to touch the top five wires but don't see any access to the bottom five wires. The floor covers the connector.
After touching the top five with an iron, the same issues persist. Engine stats up fine, all sounds are fine but when increasing the speed the motor starts to spin and the engine starts to move but then quickly stalls/stops and a deep hum sets in. Also, giggling the tether again still causes the sounds to cut in and out.
Is there a way to access all the connections on this engine.
Any help appreciated. Thanks, Joe
