MTH 20-4178 B&O Madison 2-car "diner - combine" passenger set.

This MTH set was introduced in 2006. These cars were additions to MTH 20-4078 that was also issued in 2006.

The MTH "combine" includes a side passenger door with step at one end and a baggage door at the other end. The MTH "diner" has a "kitchen" at one end. Both cars feature diecast sprung trucks and lighted interiors with seated passengers.

The plan for these 2 MTH cars is to remove the interiors and "passengers" and place the cars in a scale model "railroad museum" similar to the the real B&O museum in Balitimore. These are the only model B&O passenger cars that I own.
