I can't seem to get this unit out of reverse . It talks about there being a battery in the tender but there is none . I have tried doing the procedures , while the engine is moving blow the horn etc etc but I don't get chime sound after the procedure. Any ideas please

That engine doesn't have protosounds, just a whistle with simple reverse unit. No battery is needed. There should be a switch under the tender that locks the engine in a direction. Slide the switch to the "on" position and the reverse unit should cycle normally.
If it’s indeed a “-0” loco, is has a DCRU reverse unit with added whistle board. No battery or other sounds. It should have a reverse lockout switch under the tender.
