Ran my MTH Lionel Corp 384 2-4-0 Standard gauge loco at the Clayton New York train show last weekend.
smoke worked, chuffing and bell worked, but the whistle blew constantly. no matter what I did the whistle
would blow all the time???????????
Any ideas from you electronic wizards!!!???

What transformer did you use to run it?

used the Z1000 that came with the set.

Yes, But I have had it in storage since the last train show that I ran it
back November 2013 if that makes a difference.
Have you tried different transformers?

If problem persists using different MTH transformer, I suggest you bring the engine and tender in to the service center. I'll have my MTH techs take a look at it.
