Just got my new four truck Shaw and downloaded the online manual but it seems to be for a 3 truck as it shows that the smoke and sound controls are under a removed tender deck and that is not so on the four truck Shay. Does anyone know where those controls are as this thing is big and hard to handle!

I just received a newly released 4 truck shay. The manual smoke and volume pots are under the tender between the trucks. You have to flip the whole engine over to get to them.

Ken Thanks I found them but it appears my smoke fan is not working as it creates smoke just does not come out the stack. If I blow down the stack like to clear a bubble smoke comes out all under the boiler but does not come up the stack The stack is clear as when I blow down it the snake clears. Close to 70 MTH Locomotives and thus is the first time I have ever had an issue right out of the box. I will reach out to MrMuffins and see what they want to do about it.
Probably missing or fell out the gasket between smoke fan housing and smoke element. G
