I am trying to activate an MTH #450 signal bridge using Azatrax infrared sensors installed across the track. I can't figure out how to make the connections between the MRD1 sensor and the signal bridge. Is this even possible?

Here is a picture of the signal bridge and relay. The right side of the relay is for the sensor and infrared led. The two top inputs on the left of the relay are for power. The two bottom ones are for the closed circuit that is activated by the sensors.

Shackdaddyda,
Your Signal Bridge look like it has a relay Circuit Broad built in yes ?
If your looking to use the other Relay Block. Your going to have to remove the Circuit board out the Signal Bridge then.
Why not just use the Relay that in the Signal Bridge.
Doesn't the Signal Bridge have a schematic that came with it ?

I don't have either of these devices, but it looks like you may need to re-use the relay you were using before, only have the MRD1 activate it instead of the outside rail. It appears that you need one more contact than the MRD1 has to offer.
Is there any way just activate just the relay coil. That would operate the contacts on the relay to change the signal from Red to Green. But you have to use the isolated rail then to work the relay coil by if self then.

In above link, Azatrax illustrates how to use an external relay to give the MRD1 "one more contact" like rtr12 says.
