I was running this yesterday and fumbling around the green lights and headlight were on. The speed knob was unresponsive. I reset the DCS remote and TIU. Good operation but no directional lights (green). I like the feature. Manual no help at all. Can someone help direct me to where I can effect these lights. Thanks.

you might try a conventional reset using mth Z4000 transformer , that might correct the problem and sometimes delete the engine in your remote and then add engine again definitely worth a try! ps3 engine can be quirky sometimes but usually resets fix the issue how is your track signal should be close to 10 as possible.
also you can get more help if you give us the engine item number !

Try pressing the -> key and scrolling to when "more" appears and pressing the key under more. You can use the thumbwheel to scroll through those settings and change the behavior of the class lights.

Nothing in the "more" regarding lights. I notice that if I kill the power and turn it on, the lights are on, but the speed wheel is unresponsive. Resetting the engine brings it back to life without lights.
It's almost as if it is in a different mode than DCS. Maybe DCC. Can't really tell.
Did you do a factory reset using the remote and then add the engine again?

Can you or someone tell me where there is a command in the remote options to turn the marker lights on or off?
I'd try reloading the sound and chain files. If the marker light option isn't in the menu under Control, and you don't see it in the "more" menu, it's possible you have the wrong files loaded.

I was thinking the same thing. I looked up the support section on the site and did not see a sound file to download. All choices are grayed out. I will call MTH at noon and see what they can tell me. Last engine in service was 2 months in waiting.

Pretty good John. I spoke with Jason (MTH) last night. They found a glitch in the software that does not allow control of lights. They are rewriting the file and will send a new chain and sound file. He was surprised no one called them on it until now. Marker lights are not mentioned in the manual, and very easy to overlook without knowing the green leds light up. You can power up in conventional mode and the lights come on.
Currently, no downloadable sound and chain files on support section of MTH website. Happy Birthday to owners. You have free lights available.
Thanks for posting the resolution, some threads just stop with no wrap.

I hate it when someone is dogging a problem you are having, then they run away with the answer (without posting the answer) like a squirrel with a nut. Like going to the library and ripping out the last page of all the mysteries.

That's just downright mean!
