Not sure when it will be available, but I'll be among the few Alaska RR fans who hopes it is delayed (yes delayed) for a few more months. Just picked up my Alaska MP-15 switcher this past weekend, and I believe a major preordered O gauge tinplate locomotive is due in to my dealer's shop in the next week or so.
In short, I'm tapped out, and these consistently messed-up delivery dates are not doing me any favor.

This one: Alaska MP15DC
Of all the various Alaska switchers I have, this one is by far the best in terms of sounds and detailing--pretty much the equivalent of a Premier model, in my opinion. I'm very happy with it.
THANKS ,

Don't feel alone! If all the stuff I have ordered comes in I will be in so deep I will need hip waders! I am also hoping for delays! The only thing I have pre-paid is a Legacy 990 system and we all know how that's going.
I hear ya! I am waiting on the MTH Southern Pacific F-7...
Can't wait to see someone post pictures of these. I wavered and did not order them when they were announced and now kind of regret it!!

Guys, my budget is such that the sooner the better. Other locomotives coming later in the year including Lionel Ann Arbor FA2, Lionel Wabash E8 and Lionel Big Boy. Looks like no matter when Mike ships the Alaska F7, somebody will feel a hit in their wallet. Btw, I ordered all the Alaska passenger cars as well.
Your train budget is considerably more healthy than mine, Harold! More power to you! That will definitely make a beautiful set.
Allan, a 8.0 quake just hit Alaska. Don
Love the Alaska yellow & blue paint scheme. Have a couple other Alaska locomotives as well. May set up the layout for some all Alaska pictures after I get the F7 and passenger cars.
