I've been reading old intermodal threads and I can't find an answer to this question:
Are the 40' & 20' containers from MTH Premier Husky Stacks the same size as Menard's 40' & 20' containers? The dimensions provided by Menard's on their website are pretty darn close to the MTH containers that I own. If someone owns Menard's containers, I would appreciate some precise measurements of the real thing. And if someone has pictures of the two brands side-by-side, that would be even better. Thanks.

A good topic for OGR magazine would be a container comparison, Atlas, MTH, Lionel, K-line, Menards. Cover the compatibility or lack of. Sizes, etc.
VistaDomeScott, absolutely. As a novice to modern freight and intermodal specifically, it has really been tough deciphering everything. This is the best OGR thread I could find on the different intermodal freight cars but I haven't found any specifics on container sizes.
