So much going on...cant keep up....

MTH MP-15's,  DC and AC.

MTH will be doing L&N (Family Lines), Morristown and Erie (Black), C&NW, Reading, and MKT.

Our special runs will be for the MP-15DC    Manufacturers Railway (Anhauser-Busch) , and Philadelphia, Bethlehem and New England (Bethlehem Steel)

Our special run requests for the the MP-15AC are SOO line in white/red/black, and Delmarva Central.  These have not been approved by MTH yet...still waiting to hear.  I wont be surprised if someone else has already taken the SOO one.  I love the SOO circus colors.  When I lived i Milwaukee, we would go up to Fond du Lac to see SOO line stuff.  It was U30's, F-7s and Geeps then. LOL.  Id say we have a beeter shot at getting the Delmarva Central, as it is less known.

If we dont get to do the SOO, i'll figure something else out.  MoPac??  The MoPac MP15's had the screaming eagle.  Does anyone know if there were ever any MoPac MP-15's with the Buzz Saw logo?

There's also South Buffalo (another Beth Steel plant) St. Maries River RR,  NWP (SP bloody nose), Lake Erie, Franklin and Clarion.   Since Im not expecting to get the SOO, LMK what you all would want.

Ah so, (not to deviate from your thread), but you say you went to Fond du Lac to see the Soo Line colors.  Hmmm, don’t remember seeing you prowling around rails there, but then I bailed about 1964.  My earliest recollections of the SOO date to the late ‘40’s/early ‘50’s when I would stay at my grandparents’ home on Forest Ave.  I vividly recall being lulled to sleep at night by the sounds of the Soo steamers pushing long freights up Hamilton Hill south of town with the assist of a second steamer on the tail end.  In those days, the best the Soo had “colorwise” were brown & yellow F units & really old & ugly coaches on a once a day each way passenger train.

The majority of the train action in Fondy was on the C&NW to the east of the Soo tracks, & we young’uns would spend the better part of the day sitting on the station’s baggage carts watching lots of steamers & diesels go through.  Will never forget the afternoon my Foreman grandfather boosted me up & into the cab of a diesel switcher & I sat on engineer, “old man” Crowley’s,” lap - hand on throttle, etc. & with Crowley’s assistance guided the loco to the C&NW roundhouse in North Fond du Lac located next to the Soo Line shops.  Yea, some 75 years later & can’t remember yesterday, but remember the event & Crowley’s name like it happened today.

If you can please request different road numbers from the Atlas O run of MoPac MP15DC's. They did road numbers 1539, 1541, and 1537.

I don't think they had any with just the buzzsaw and big screaming eagle. I think it was the screaming eagle buzzsaw under the cab.

These would have gone great with a MoPac Magor caboose on a transfer job.

Yes to all the above.
Different road numbers.
Eagle on the Buzzsaw - see above pic.
A Magor caboose would be super !!!!!!!!

The A&S SW1500 is scheduled to be made in the next run of these engines.   It will be our special run.

I looked at the Port of Montreal MP-15's.  Colorful, but i dont think enough ppl are familiar with it.

CN never had any MP15's or SW1500's.  Their late switcher fleet was SW1200rs's, built by GMD.  GMD-1's are interesting. No one has ever made them in  O scale, and i wouldnt hold my breath as they were almost all made for CN.  a few for Northern Alberta Railway, and a few to shortlines second hand.
