The MTH FP-45 is a nice full O scale sized engine. Infact, for years is was marketed as a premier engine. In the mid 2000's , MTH upgraded some of their diesels with more separately applied details (like windshield wipers) and put the earlier full O scale diesels onto the railking line. This was the beginning of the lines being blurred between Rail King, RailKing Scale, and Premier.

One of the nice things about the Railking scale engines, is that they are over $100 less expensive than Premier engines, but theyr are still full scale size, with the full proto P3.0 sound package, cruise control, and diesel exhaust. (our pre-order price, and most dealers prices will be arounf $387)
