What is causing the bell on a MTH protosound diesel loco to start ringing when passes over a switch? The track is and switches are Lionel and the switch is a remote control. Thanks
The switch or the pickups may be dirty, the pickup may be momentarily shorting on one of the outside rails or it's the type of switch you are using. The bottom line is the AC sign wave is distorted enough for the PS board to think that it is receiving a DC offset to activate either the horn or bell.
