Hi All, Couple days ago I posted about a MTH New Haven diesel 3 piece set that would not run. I also mentioned I had a MTH Big Boy steamer that would not run on a new/old set of tracks on a layout, It seemed to power up with most of the sounds heard of any other unit powering up, even the talking. Now, I failed to say that I had run this engine of another layout with Lionel EZ track and it ran fine. I am using on both layouts a MTH Z 1000 transformer. I was wondering if there was a signal I needed to send to this new/old layout track to tell it there was a different loco on the track. I also want to thank the ones that replied to my original post on both subjects. This is pretty new to me but it is so enjoyable for this old man.
