Does anyone have any experience with the MTH PS3 BB imperial? I realize it is no $2500 Lionel, but as an engine to shuttle cars between the sump pump & fuse box, any users?

I have one in for repair, for some reason it ate both of the boards, the boiler and tender boards! I just got the new boards, now I'm going over the wiring to see if something is amiss that took them out.
So far, I prefer the PS/2 3V boards to the PS/3, they're a lot easier to repair and they don't seem as fragile.
I have one and like it a lot. Beautiful job by MTH.
I suspect the actual hardware other than the electronics & mounting for it is unchanged from the PS2 Imperial Big Boy I have.
I will say it's my favorite engine by far.
I recently got a Scale MTH Big Boy and I love it but it really needs BIG curves.
I have an Imperial BB that I run on my 5x9 layout with O-31 curves and it runs and sounds beautiful. It does get a bit tight on those curves, but no derailments.
I usually only pull a rather small car consist behind mine due to space limitations.
