MTH burning house

The motor or gear that turns the red plastic to have the house the effect of flames has locked up and will not turn. Does anyone know of a fix, or does it need to go back to my dealer for repair? I like the house, but do have some problem with water spillage on my layout from the house. Sometimes I am just messy, others the hose slips and waters my layout, but I still like it. At least the smoke unit works yet.
