I found a TTZX centerbeam that has the side number 866315. The end of car number is correct-865164. I've heard of the Prototype doing this but a model manufacturer? Of FORBID!! (Lots Of Laughs). This is a 1st for me in any scale, has anyone else encountered anything like this?

Matt,

I looked these cars up & 2 were produced-866315&865164. The car I'm talking about is numbered 866164 on the ends and 866315 on the car sides. LOL So MTH did mess up on that one. Manufacturers are usually very careful about that. Well it's the Chinaman's fault that actually did the numbering, but it still falls back to MTH. Well, there's my "1st time" on that issue. Ha ha!

The Premier Center Beam cars are hard to find. I got lucky with my UP cars, maybe because they were older and weren't the "opera window" style. Last time I checked, there were a lot of the Rail King cars, but only two Premiers which were both listed above MSRP.  As for the numbers on the ends, some 1000-grit wet/dry sand paper (wet) should take the numbers off the ends without marring the paint.
