Has anyone ever had the MTH Climax locomotive (30-3443-1 to be specific) apart? I want to change the stack from a funnel to a shotgun. Are the stacks an integral part of the body, will they come out?
I could always saw off and replace, but that id definitely the hard way to do it.

Update, I mistyped the number it is 20-3443-1 and there is no information on the MTH parts site.

I personally do not know of other MTH engines using screw in stacks. Most are press fit.

Thanks, I searched on the 20- number and came up empty.
Keyword searches typically work better for some things on both Lionel and MTH parts sites.
