I have not seen the Club version up close, but have seen one in a video with the Evo and Demonstrator and they seemed ok, just not as bright as the green lights on the others. What aspect is causing your question?
I do know of a couple of people that got the latest Evo railking in and didn't think the lights were as good as the previous versions.
yup - ask spence - he has a video up somewhere
I have the Club ES44 and I am very happy with it. The lights are fine they are not green so they would not look as bright. When I run it at shows people like it as much as the GE and the EVO.
Hi Jeff,
I just pulled my ES44 MTHRRC EVO out and did a few test runs. The lights are just as bright as the ones in Spence's video. It was a bright sunny day outside and the room was filled with ambient light and the charging light were clearly visible. Sorry to hear about yours. Let us know if you find the issue and if you were able to correct.
Is this on the dim side?
I thought maybe they had switched to something like electroluminescent lights, though that does sound a bit like reinventing the wheel.

Compare your video to mine below, I tried to match your angle and distance, based on the ambient light level, yours does look dim. One difference is yours is a Railking while Spence's and mine are Premier.

Jeff Did you get your engine back and did they make the brighter.
My purple charging lights are also very faint.
Jeff, did you play with your remote light controls before returning it? When my smoke is turned on or off lights go out. Headlight, Interior, and number board light controls are erratic and turn off charging lights. My Headlight, Interior, and number board lights won't all stay on at the same time.
