I'm lookin at ordering two of these locos, the Blue Royal version and the pilot "standard" color version(tuscan/grey).

The tender trucks,if they could be changed would make this atlot more accurate of a model.

The Royal Hudsons H1c-d all used 6 wheel Commonwealth trucks and the H1e's had the Buckeye type.

Would be nice to have this changed on the up-coming #2850/1 release to have the correct Commonwealth design.

It should not be a difficult production change unless the truck pivot points are not in the correct location for the change out

Yes when they converted the Hudsons to Oil they enlarged the size of the existing coal bunker to accomodate the new oil bunkers. This conversion was performed at Weston or Ogden shops for service on CPR's Western lines.

All the Hudsons had 6 wheel trucks with a 9' wheel base. Only the later H1e class had Buckeye style trucks.
