I saw on the 3 rail forum that MTH is taking orders for the Class 44 German Decapods in 2/3 rail PS3 and E94 Electrics. With the Lenz Class 50 Decapods also in the works and with the Lenz Class V60 Diesel and the Lenz and Brawa freight/passenger cars,it is a great time to be in Continental European 2 rail scale (1:45).Of course, it is a great time to be in 2 rail O scale whatever country you model.

Good news / bad news from the show regarding the MTH E-94 [ and their ÖBB 1020 class relatives ]:
The good news is that photos of the two DB models and the orange Austrian one show excellent models, with an excellent level of detail. The bad news is that delivery is now seen as Autumn 2014 instead of this month -- quite a surprise in view of the detailed models shown.
It is mentioned in conjunction with the 44 that MTH will be introducing, in response to "customer demand"
- a new 7 pole motor
- finer wire for the headlights
- New software [ or something like that ] for better operation under DCC
Perhaps the delay to the E94 production is because these improvements are also being incorporated. I would hope these improvements would also spill over onto North American prototype stuff.
Has anyone seen a photo from the show of the green Austrian E-94 ? I have one on order, but the graphics on the models MTH has displayed to date are -- I am going to be kind here -- horrid.
