Wierd question.

Does the MTH DCS Remote Commander (50-1033) work with Atlas track or is it designed to only work with RealTrax?

No mention in the instructions about using it to run control through other track makes, even MTH's own ScaleTrax.

Would like to hook it up to the Atlas O terminal track.

Yes, I'm aware of the limitations of the 50-1033 (line-of-sight infrared, etc.)

And fwiw I like it. Within it's limitations it functions well. I find I operate speed and direction change buttons with my thumb without having to change my grip. The Remote is small and lightweight, much smaller than today's teevee remotes.

I have mine hooked up in passive mode (power going directly to the track rather than through the Commander Receiver) but only because I wanted 14VAC track power instead of the 18V supplied by the barrel-connector output of my Z-1000 power brick.
