I am in the market for a MTH Dcs remote with TIU. I have been on eBay and know a couple of stores that sell them new at regular price. What's the most up to date set they have out and how can you tell? and does it matter if it's an older vedsion or a new version?

The Rev L is the newest version TIU It has the best reception The latest software is 4.3 That can always be upgraded I may have a great deal for you on the TIU Send me a text
bluelinec4 is correct. I'll add that the "L" TIU also has a USB port that earlier versions don't have.

When I was looking back in march, older used units were commanding big $$$ due to none availible new. When they were availible in april, I picked up a new REV L for a very good deal on Amazon through Trainz plus has a warranty. Shop around
