MTH DCS WIFI Premium Purchase for multiple devices

Well?

I know it's one time for multiple devices. I'm just not sure OIS vs Android?

Can you clue us in on how to do that?

We have 2 ipads and loaded the app on each.  My son logged into the app store on his account and downloaded the app on both ipads using his account.  Then he purchased the $5 upgrade on his ipad #1.  Then he grabbed ipad #2 (again on his account) and went to obtain the $5 upgrade and it changed him again.

I don't want to make the mistake when purchasing the premium upgrade.

I guess you mean charged him again, right? It did that to me also. When my statement arrived there was only one charge. I think MTH issues a credit or removes the duplicate charges.

As long as you have the same iTunes or Google account logged in on your device, you only need to pay once for each version, iOS or Android, of the app.

The way it works is as follows:

• Download the free app from either iTunes or Google Play.
• Do an in-app upgrade and the credit card associated with your iTunes or Google Play account will be charged.
• Now, download the app on additional platforms of the same type (iOS or Android) using the same iTunes or Google account. The version downloaded will be the one for which you previously paid. You will no be charged again.
• Repeat from the first step for a version on the other platform.

Note that if you installed the free app on more than one platform of the same type using the same iTunes or Google account before upgrading,  you'll have to update all such devices using the in-app process. However, you'll only be charged for the first upgrade.

Thank You for the advice.  Now working on 2 ipads and an iphone for the kids and myself.  I have to tell ya, at first blush, I think I like my remote better.  Everything is accessible with one hand.

I found myself swiping screens to find the buttons I wanted and paying more attention to the phone than the train. 

The kids love it however.

I think it's habit, that we'd rather keep reaching for the remote. Any new users who have phones won't understand. Our grandkids prefer the phones. I reach for the remote.

 After some time and continued use, I like the phone. I still like the remote too.

IMO, Running the trains with the app is like driving a Cadillac...give it a chance and you will grow to like it...

Ron, What a timely question at least for me.  I had been thinking of trying a lashup on the wifi app on my phone tonight.  I have the free app on both my phone and ipad, so when I saw I needed to get the premium app, I paused and thought the same question as you.  So I decided to research it before buying.  I don't have any problem buying the premium app, I just didn't want to pay twice if I didn't have to.
