Have that.
I don't have E-Stop
How do I add it?
Thank you,
Rudy
Go to "settings" under "More". Near bottom is "Hide E-Stop button." Uncheck it. Do be aware that IOS and Android versions have different defaults. Under former, button is on main screen by default; under latter, it is not.
While on the subject of differences between the two versions, there is another that Andy Edelman of MTH mentioned at York: On the engine settings screen are setting for max speed, acceleratjion rate, etc. They appear to be sliders, and on the Apple version, they are. On the Android version, they can't be slid; the slide must be tapped where you want it to be set.
By the way, current version is 1.2.0. Only change from V1.1.0 is to give a choice to eliminate the e-stop. Setting version appear just below the Hide E-stop button setting described above.
THANK'S,
RJR
I may need to make a panic stop! LOL
Sincerely,
Rudy
Hello RJR,
Well I now have the Red E Button but it doesn't work--
What to do?
Thank you,
Rudy
OK, some questions:
Android or Apple?
Other than the E-stop button, do you have full control over your trains?
Do you have your layout wired in active (normal) or passive (track power not routed through TIU) modes?
Does the E-stop button on the remote work, shutting all power through TIUs?
Is my understanding of what is required to get the advantage of the full wifi capability here correct? 1. Upload software for wifi with premium features, 2.download upgraded app and 3. Upgrade 5.0 software. Will this be identified as 5.1?
As of right now, the full capability software is not released; according to Andy at York, 12/21/16 is the target date. Once it is released, there may well be a revised DCS software, in which case your analysis is correct. If not, step 3 would not be required.
Sorry RJR I un-checked something and did not get you reply

Rudy, I use Android. Since there are differences, there is no point in me trying to re-create your situation. I'll have to defer to an Apple user.
OK RJR,
Thank you so much for your help.
Sincerely,
Rudy
