A while back someone posted that they had a problem with the drawbar on MTH steamers disconnecting. I had the same problem with my Dreyuss engine. My pals at Ready to Roll corrected the problem. It seems that the spring that is above the drawbar pushes down on the bar causing pressure to push the bar down. Jim at Ready to Roll remove the screw holding the bar in the tender and put the spring below the drawbar. Problem solved.
