hey, can I put like 4 ohm resistor on a PS2 coupler to bring it to the 6 ohm loaf for TMCC? I have 1 watt resistors.

Nope, the PS2/3 coupler operates at a much higher current than the TMCC coupler, but lower voltage. The dropping resistor will just drop all the voltage and the coupler won't operate.

Yep, and you can use the older PS/1 couplers with TMCC, they're the same impedance and current as TMCC couplers.
