I'm having a difficult time trying to get this coupler back together the first one went quick this one not so much Any tips, instructions, solutions, advice

Clem , you probably know that top piece needs to be flopped over.
The little spring is sometimes a little trouble to get lined up properly when trying to put it over the post on the bottom piece and aligned with the top piece.
Maybe this photo will help.

Thanks, That is a different truck but I can see that the centering spring is the same and facing the direction I have mine going
Dallas.....I tried a couple of more times ( I knew that piece was upside down ) the same way I had been doing and this time it worked.

Sometimes these little parts can be frustrating.
