When I lash up tow Alco NKP PA and Erie FA (Erie running in reverse) the bells and whistles activate together instead of seoparately like the should. Any suggestions

Are you using the DCS Remote?
Do you have some more information regarding the locos? Product number for each would be very helpful! Two other questions:
what version of proto sounds, if any, are the locos?
are you controlling these conventionally? Via DCS w/ a TIU? Some other way?
sorry to bombard you but getting even the last 2 establishes will help find a solution more quickly!
