I wish that MTH would do their Baldvin VO & Alco RS-1 in the LIRR black with gold lettering as delivered schemes. Enough of the Grey & orange dashing Dan stuff!

Give it time. I am hopeful for a Black (or is it Brunswick Green) LIRR RS-1 from MTH. Atlas has done it a few times.
I would love a Baldwin VO that would make my day!
Nothing against Dashing Dan (I like him a lot) but I'm in for some earlier "As Delivered" painted equipment. I think I prefer the as delivered look over DD.
I agree. Dashing Dan pins the equipment to a more narrow time period, which unfortunately for me is too late! I model 1955. As Ron pointed out, Atlas has come out with Brunswick green. Hopefully MTH will hear about this and move onto other schemes. Maybe we should have this moved to the manufacturer forum...

I think MTH has rehashed the same Long Island schemes over and over for the past 15 years...nothing new! I like the Dan era..grew up in it but let's bring something new to the table!
There was for a short time a "Dashing Jane" logo. Did it make it to any equipment?
You mean the Dashing Dottie
You never know......:-)
MTH also needs to do the Rail King 2-8-0 in Long Island livery. The current Sunrise Special logo on the 2-8-0 is a fantasy. The Long Island had a fleet of Pennsy Type H Class Consolidations like N0. 111 in the photo. I would be thrilled to MTH offer replacement tender shells with Long Island livery.
The dog house on the tender is irrelevant.

That would be nice!
The "Dashing Dan" is overdone--much grey and orange schemes without it. I'd like to see the first Goodfellow paint, done on the 2000 and 2400 series C Liners.

I agree Scotie, I was hoping for that too, although the Tichy scheme fits as well. I was just glad they departed from Dashing Dan!

How about a blue and white MP15..........

Charlie, a Railking Scale RS1 would be perfect for your next custom loco after the #35 G5!

Why not custom paint what you want instead of waiting for MTH?
One reason is not many decals out there for Long Island Diesels
My bad just the picture of the c-liner was tichy should have read.

Guys, as long as you support us we will try to make these versions.
You know we will Charlie!

How about MTH doing a LIRR MP41. They can also do an IRT Gibbs car (same body) in two versions. With or without the center door. They can use the LO-V chassis, trucks, motors and marker lights. That will help keep the cost down for them. They can have a variety of color schemes to work with as well. The more favorable comments and interest may give MTH then desire to do the project.

The Twin Forks Chapter of the NRHS had a run of Jordan spreaders done in the black "as delivered" paint scheme from MTH. I believe they have a few left or contact the Railroad Museum of LI since they have some in their gift shop.
