Great work. Thanks for posting.
That looks fantastic!!! What did you use as the filler piece between the sideframes and the frame? Very nice touch! Also did you grind anything down on the sideframes?
Nice job on the engine.
Story on the track?
A couple of "before" photos or list of details would be helpful for us non-MTH folks...and better showcase your handiwork.
Looking good. Give us the details please sir. What did you use for he blue MU Cable?
It is looking great. If you get the time, I'd also like to see a run down of what was done to the model.
Thanks for the nice comments guys! Joe the coupler is a kadee 743 Type E coupler. The blue cable is just a small wire used for connecting leds (sorry I have no reference, I got this at a random shop in Colombia where I live). To fill the gaps oabive the trucks I used balsa wood, I painted it and glued with crazy glue. I replaced the MTH chains with precision scale's chains (the one with the most links per inch) and the air hose with Berkishire Valley's part 314. For the grab irons on the snow plow I used .020 brass rod, crazy glue and enamel paint. I used Atlas Gp35's MU hoses. I filled the windshield wipers thinner and panted them silver for a sharper look. I also forgot to mention that I painted the cooling blades silver, they come black. I plan to weather the wheels and do a little interior detailing as well. I'll post pics when that's done. Thanks again guys.
