I have an MTH passenger set MT-4008. I want to add lighting to the baggage car which has the same truck as the rest of the cars but no pickup(s). The MTH parts site says no info is available on this set. The pickup body is plastic and pushes into the truck opening. I've attached pictures in hopes someone can help me with this part # or part. I would also need the ground axle wiper.

The axle wiper is II-0000006, I just ordered those myself.
The collector looks like the Lionel ones I have for the 9950 trucks, but I don't have a part number for the plastic spring assembly. See the pictures, sure looks like the same mount.

George, how did you come up with the number? I see it in the parts list, but no description.
When ever I order undefined parts I put them in my own parts list spread sheet. But this was picture ID'd in the 2013 PDF Service put out a few years ago. G

I had to run into Atlanta this morning so on the way out I stopped by Legacy Station and Brian (owner) and Barry (service tech) were able to source the roller and spring insert from their "surplus bin". Price was right at $5. John, I still need the wiper and machine screw if you would sell them to me. My email is bruce.tread@gmail.com. Let me know the cost and I'll advise a shipping address. In the short term I'll borrow one of the wipers off one of the other cars and go with a single ground. MTH does not make it simple to acquire a chassis ground.

I have the wipers, if you can come up with the screw I can fix you up with a couple. Should be able to put those in an envelope for cheap shipping.
