Uncataloged O Scale Premier 2-Bay Fish Belly Hopper Car Sets Announced

July 9, 2021 - M.T.H. Electric Trains has announced three exclusive releases of Premier O Scale 2-Bay Fish Belly 6-Car Hopper Sets for M.T.H. Authorized Retailer Public Delivery Track. In addition to an unlettered 2-Rail version, two roadnames will be available in both 3-rail and 2-rail configurations. Each car in the sets is individually numbered but very limited in production and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Delivery is slated for November 2021.

ABOUT THE PREMIER 2-BAY FISH BELLY HOPPER CAR

The two-bay car was ideal for the delivery of clean-burning anthracite to coal dealers who served the home heating market. In contrast, dirtier-burning bituminous coal, used more commonly by large industrial customers, often traveled in bigger three- and four-bay hoppers.
